Back in 2021 we were approached by a couple due to get married at the beautiful Glenfall House in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in March 2022. Although the couple were due to travelling from the USA, we managed to arrange a site visit to survey the venue and find solutions for our clients requirements. Several WhatsApp calls were arranged leading up to the day to fine tune our services.
Wedding Venue Draping
Due to guest numbers, our clients planned to use the ‘hayloft barn’ area to seat their guests for dinner. This area was currently being used for storage and therefore wasn’t decorated in keeping with a normal Wedding setting. We proposed a full wall drapes setup using white pleated drape and ceiling drape lining arranged to allow the venue’s own festoons to hang between the drapes. We also proposed uplighters to hire, to complement the overhead lights and provide mood lighting.
Wedding Venue Lighting
We were also asked to provide further wedding lighting for other areas of the venue including around the main building exterior and throughout the gardens. For outdoor lighting, a mixture of white and colour changing LED floods were used, as well as conventional halide floods for the larger trees. We also supplied festoon lighting around the patio and fairy lighting for a walkway. To ensure all the lighting was to suit the colour scheme, we supplied a DMX controller and lighting technician for two evenings, making sure everything went perfectly to plan.
