WALL DRAPES FOR EVENTS

Wall drapes hire, event drapery and starcloth hire have a multitude of uses to transform your venue. Our drapes are the perfect way to cover unsightly walls, create a backdrop or feature wall, or to mask an alternative venue such as a barn or factory. As all our draping services are provided on a free-standing system, you can even change the whole layout of your venue by dividing large spaces into multiple areas, or turn a large arena venue into a more intimate setting.

Drapes for events makes up a large portion of our business, with clients including dance festivals where our black wool serge will transform venues, hiding unsightly walls and creating a club-like atmosphere. We have stocks suitable for draping the smallest village hall, up to arena sized venues – our freestanding system reaches up to 5m height, or we have event draping suitable to be flown from existing venue rigging.

Where do we provide wall drapes for events?

We drape venues in our home county of Worcestershire and neighbouring counties of Warwickshire & Gloucestershire. As our event draping is a popular service, we also travel further afield to Oxfordshire, West Midlands and even throughout the rest of the UK.

Pipe & Drape Hire

Known sometimes as pipe & base hire, our free standing drape rigging system uses heavy base plates (which we add further ballast to, for heavier or taller drapes) with telescopic vertical and horizontal poles, meaning all work can be carried our at ground level without the need for access equipment.  This system allows us to create a framework to support the draping around the edges of the venue, or even creating freestanding partitions. When you hire our black drapes they can either be clipped or tied, or white drapes can be threaded onto the horizontal bars, meaning all metal work is hidden.

White Drapes Hire

White drapes (white pleated drapes) lend themselves to creating neutral spaces whether it be in a plain looking function room, or for transforming an unusual space such as an agricultural barn or even a working factory. Popular uses for white wall draping hire is for venue theming and for drapery for wedding venues. Our white draping can be further enhanced with lighting hire to complement your event colour theme.

Black Drapes Hire

Our black drapes (black wool serge drapes) whilst creating a blank canvas, are also perfect for improving event acoustics by eliminating echo and providing a certain amount of sound proofing. Our black drape hire is commonly used for corporate events such as conferences and christmas parties, or for music festivals.

LED Starcloth & Ivory Starlight Cloth Hire

For added wow factor we also hire led starcloth and ivory starlight curtains. LED Starcloth is usually hired to corporate events, whereas our ivory starlight curtain is ideal for stage backdrops and top table backdrop curtains for weddings – even better when it’s used alongside full venue wedding drapes! We also provide starcloth hire to drape around whole rooms, creating an amazing transformation.

Ceiling Draping & Bespoke Draping

We also carry ceiling draping stock, avaliable in a range of colours. We can also supply bespoke styles and colours of drape for both the ceiling and for wall overlays – for example red velvet over led starcloth looks great for an awards night production. Ceiling drapes can sometimes be rigged using the same freestanding pipe & base system, but most often will need us to make fixings to your venue, or hang from existing rigging points where avaliable.
